Thank you very much for your interest in our internet presence and our company. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously in the collection, processing and use of the personal data obtained in the course of your visit to our website. Collection and processing of data:
We do not need any personal data from you in order for you to visit our website.
All that will be logged is every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on the website. This information is stored for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following will be logged: web browser, requesting domain, name of the retrieved file, transmitted data volume, date and time of the retrieval and report of successful retrieval. The IP addresses of the requesting computer will also be logged. Personal data will only be recorded if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. in connection with an enquiry or registration, or if you use particular services.
You are not under any obligation in principle to provide personal data until you enter into a contractual relationship with us. Without these data, however, it will not be possible to enter into a contractual relationship or to fulfil it through the performance of financial services for the client.
Use and transmission of personal data:
We process personal data in compliance with prevailing law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“General Data Protection Regulation”, or GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The company generally uses all personal data to respond to enquiries, to take steps prior to entering into a contract, to fulfil its contractual obligations to the client or prospective client concerned and to fulfil other legal and in particular supervisory obligations (Art. 6(1) (b), (c) GDPR) Processing may also take place in order to preserve the legitimate interests of the company, such as for the purposes of managing claims, establishing a legal defence or direct advertising, unless these conflict with overriding interests, basic rights or basic freedoms of the client (Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR); to that extent the client has a right to object (see below).
Your personal data will only be forwarded or otherwise transmitted to third parties if this is allowed by law, in particular for the purposes of processing a contract (e.g. forwarding of orders for processing) or if you have previously consented to such forwarding, processing or other use of your personal data. The recipients of the data in these cases are our external service providers and cooperation partners, such as IT service providers, product partners, banking and custodian institutions.
We may also be bound to disclose and transfer the data by law or court order or official instruction.
We do not use systems for automated decision-making (e.g. profiling).
Use of Google Analytics:
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information created by the cookie about your use of this website is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Duration of storage:
We store and process personal data of clients and prospective clients for as long as this is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations. It should be noted that the business relationship with our clients is a recurring obligation intended to last a number of years. As soon as the client provides us with personal data and we have entered into a contractual relationship with them and performed financial services on that basis, we as a company are subject to duties of archiving, documentation and disclosure under commercial, tax and supervisory law that also encompass client data. These periods can last two to ten years.
When data are not or no longer needed for the fulfilment of contractual or statutory obligations, they are normally erased unless their further processing (for a limited time) is required for evidential purposes during limitation periods (up to 30 years), provided that their storage beyond the statutory retention periods is in the overriding legitimate interest of the company pursuant to Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR.
